The Air Jordan 3 Retro ‘Denim’ is said to be inspired by Japan because of its raw denim elephant print finish. It is honestly a really solid design, with simple neutral colors balancing well together.
The mostly white body provides some class to the sneaker and the white bottom sole takes the style to a whole other level. It’s a small detail but it goes a long way in elevating the style.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro ‘Denim’ sports a translucent heel tab that makes both the Nike Air and Jumpman logo visible. Nike has also stated that the sneakers are packaged with denim elephant print paper.

The red accents that the sneaker features also provide some nice character.
The silhouette of the Air Jordan 3 Retro doesn’t really look like a basketball sneaker to me but I think that actually benefits the general public. One could argue that some of the Jordan Retro Collection sneakers look too much like basketball sneakers to be paired with a regular outfit.
I don’t expect this sneaker to have that high of a resale price but I do think it’s a solid design that should be relatively hard to purchase on its release date.
