Denver Nuggets Edge Out the Utah Jazz in Game 7 Thriller

Well it was the best series so far in the 2020 NBA Playoffs. Jamal Murray heroically carried the Denver Nuggets into Game 7 after going down 3 games to 1. Game 7 came down to the wire with the Utah Jazz missing out due to a missed buzzer-beater that would have seen them through to the Western Conference Semi-Finals against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Donovan Mitchell was one win away from taking the Utah Jazz into the Western Conference Semi-Finals but failed in 3 consecutive attempts. Him and Jamal Murray combined to score 475 points in the series which was the most combined points by opposing players in a playoff series.

The story could have ended a lot differently. Only an inch or so prevented Utah from advancing. The ball seemed to bounce in then out as Donovan Mitchell watched helplessly around the arch.

One could argue that the ball should have been passed to a seemingly open Donovan Mitchell, but you can’t be mad for Mike Conley taking the shot with time winding down.

The Denver Nuggets will take on the Los Angeles Clippers in the next round, where they will be the underdogs. We don’t see them being able to take down the Los Angeles Clippers but they are sure to make it close.

The Los Angeles Clippers looked shaken at times against the Dallas Mavericks but were able to put them away in 6 games.
